Since the inception of NERSWN, Health has been one of the key portfolios of its work.
Activities
Health awareness in villages along with the existing VHSC (Village Health and Sanitation committee) was done through various meeting, besides monitoring and strengthening the members in the area.
Public dialogue
Two public dialogues have been organized in last one year to discuss about the facilities and implementation of schemes between the public and health department. For that the NERSWN team went to every remote villages to collect the information of schemes implemented and knowledge of health issues about the government with help of health report card.
District consultation
District consultation program was organized in collaboration with district health Society in Kokrajhar town to highlight and discuss about the health system and scenario of entire Kokrajhar district.
Mental health Service
Total of 10 monthly mental health camps have been organized in last one year with kind support from PHE and NRTT at R N B Civil hospital in Kokrajhar district.
